After dating for almost two years, Devin Booker and Kendall Jenner have called it quits. After a brief separation, the couple got back together in July of last year; however, this time the breakup appears to be irreversible.
People reported yesterday that the couple have split up due to their busy and incompatible schedules.
“They both have incredibly busy schedules right now with their careers and have decided to make that a priority,” the source said. While Jenner, 27, will focus on her 818 tequila line and her modeling career, Booker, 26, will focus on the NBA.
“They have a lot of love and respect for each other and only want the best,”, another source told the media outlet. It was a mutual choice to end their romantic relationship, a second source informed the media outlet, and a third insider said. Jenner and Booker intend to stay in touch despite the time of their separation.
The pair reportedly split up after they returned from a vacation to Italy, where big sister Kourtney Kardashian wed Travis Barker, according to stories that surfaced back in June.
A source told E! News at the time that Jenner and Booker enjoyed their vacation in Italy, “but once they got back, they started to feel like they weren’t aligned and realized they have very different lifestyles.” The insider hinted that the two would possibly reconcile, adding that they “both hope to make it work, but as of now, they are split.”
Just one month later, Jenner appeared to confirm their reconciliation by wearing a T-shirt with an image of Booker’s NBA franchise. She also uploaded a picture of Booker’s brand-new NBA 2K23 cover on her Instagram Story. Soon after, the two were seen doing some unusual PDA on social media and at the US Open.
