Many members of the royal family (King Charles III, Camilla, Queen Consort) attended the annual Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey, including the Prince and Princess of Wales. For the event, Kate wore a pre-fall Erdem ensemble that sadly won’t be available for purchase till August 2023 (but you can pre-order).
Princess Catherine and Prince William both wore beautiful navy blue outfits to the event. Kate wore a skirt suit with pleated peplum blazer that had a white floral motif and big buttons in the middle. She matched the lovely top with a midi skirt that had the same fabric underneath, but in reverse: white with navy flowers. Gianvito Rossi navy suede pointed court shoes, a wide-brim navy blue hat with a lovely bow to one side, and a matching set of navy blue gloves were the finishing touches on Kate’s outfit. She also wore a Prince of Wales feathers brooch in addition to a set of sapphire and diamond drop earrings that were Princess Diana’s and exactly matched her engagement ring. The Princesses of Wales, including Diana and Camilla, wore the brooch as a pendant before Kate did on the first state visit of King Charles’s reign.
Throughout Kate’s royal career, Erdem Moralolu’s designs would be the perfect fit because of their rich heritage and tradition.
