Apple Martin, the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, made her debut at Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris, marking a new chapter in her life. Joining the likes of Lily Collins, Ava Philippe, Scout Willis, and Margaret Qualley, Apple turned to well known designer for her introduction to high society.
For her big night, Valentino’s creative director, Alessandro Michele, created a sky-blue gown for Martin’s debut, crafted from six tiers of silk plissé chiffon. The dress took over 750 hours to create, featuring a black silk bow at the waist. The stunning ensemble was paired with Valentino Garavani Ladycrush sandals in a matching shade of blue, making it the perfect ensemble for Martin’s debut.
The young debutante certainly wasn’t the only stylish figure gracing the event in Valentino attire. Gwyneth Paltrow made a striking entrance at Le Bal, donning a whimsical polka-dotted ensemble from Valentino’s highly anticipated spring 2025 collection. The playful yet sophisticated design perfectly complemented the festive atmosphere of the evening. Meanwhile, designer Alessandro Michele took it a step further by outfitting Martin’s father and brother, Moses, in bespoke tuxedos that exuded elegance and flair, ensuring the entire family turned heads as they arrived. Paltrow, ever the social media maven, took to Instagram to share a delightful roundup of snapshots from the glamorous occasion, captioning her post with a heartfelt, “A special long weekend in Paris 💙.”
Martin joins a long line of notable young women who have made their debut at the annual Paris event, including Lily Collins, Ava Philippe, Scout Willis, and Margaret Qualley, who all wore custom Alessandro Michele.
