Britney Spears just posted a romantic reminiscence from her wedding to Sam Asghari: a video of the couple dancing after saying “I do.”
The singer shared a video of herself and her husband dancing freely to Prince’s “Kiss” on the brightly illuminated dance floor at their wedding. Pink roses adorned the walls, and white tables were positioned all around the stage.
While Asghari wore an all-black suit with a matching top and shoes, Spears attended the dance in an enormous black blazer and glittering silver heels.
“High school movie 🎥,” Spears wrote in her post caption, referring to the romantic moment between her and Asghari from their fairy-tale wedding.
“It was sure to make me feel like something with all that entertainment and the beautiful celebs holding that mic 🎤 !!! I mean I haven’t held a mic in 7 years so that sassy girl dancing lit up the room for them with the CHEMISTRY 🧪 !!! That’s honestly what it’s about … and good God it was everywhere !!!” she continued. “Oh well sitting 🪑 down for 3 minutes for a sweet song and then 21 clap backs from one person alone had me feeling special 🤷🏼♀️ !!! Anyways this is me before the dance floor was full 🪩 !!!”
Following a five-year relationship, Spears and Asghari got married in June. A little over 60 people attended their private wedding, including Madonna, Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton, and Donatella Versace, all of whom are close friends in the entertainment industry.
Asghari chose a traditional black tux made by Versace, while the “Toxic” singer wore a white off-the-shoulder Versace wedding gown. For their wedding dance and the late-night reception, they dressed more casually.
