Actress and filmmaker Bella Thorne is engaged to businessman Mark Emms, the Bad Vegan producer and co-owner of trendy New York City restaurant The Mulberry. According to Vogue, Bella and her partner of nine months, got engaged on May 13 at Thorne’s home in California.
The ring? an emerald-cut diamond ring of over 10 carats. The two initially met at Cara Delevingne’s birthday party last year on the beach in Ibiza, and according to Thorne, “It was love at first sight as the sun rose.”
The announcement follows the news that Thorne, best known for her role in the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up, would host the re-launched Taormina Film Festival in Italy from June 24 to July 1.
The actress released two photo carousels with her 25.1 million followers, showcasing the 10-carat ring and the love shared by the newly engaged pair. The first batch of photographs showed Thorne and Emms hugging while Thorne lifted out her hand to show off the jewels. The second post included a video of them kissing, a selfie under pink lights, candid pictures of their love, and more pair shots. “My love,” the caption said.
Thorne has previously been linked to Mod Sun, Tana Mongeau, and Benjamin Mascolo. She and Mascolo, 29, announced their engagement in March 2021; however, they parted one year later. Thorne announced on Instagram Stories in June 2022 that she had broken up with Mascolo for personal reasons, begging her fans not to inquire about the split.
