Bella Hadid Transforms into Marilyn Monroe In New Post

This week, Bella Hadid channeled a vintage Hollywood movie star style.

The supermodel unveiled a platinum, curly bob today in a cute video uploaded on her Instagram page. In the video, Hadid, who is dressed in a white tank top and beige low-waisted pants, sprays hairspray into a new hairstyle that replaces her trademark chocolate brown hair with tight, disheveled curls of bleach blonde, evoking the style of Marilyn Monroe.

In the post, Hadid mentioned famous hairdresser Sam McKnight.

Bella is the latest celebrity to draw style cues from the late Gentlemen Prefer Blondes actress.

Infamously channeling Monroe at the 2022 Met Gala, Kim Kardashian donned the same legendary nude Bob Mackie outfit as she did when she sang “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” to John F. Kennedy in 1962. (She, too, had bleach blonde hair colored to resemble Marilyn Monroe’s renowned curls.) Later on, Kardashian donned another piece of Monroe’s clothing, a glistening green gown she wore to the 1962 Golden Globe Awards.
