Naomi Campbell Named First Ever Celebrity Ambassador of Pat McGrath Labs

After celebrating a Golden Jubilee, super model Naomi Campbell has been named the first ever celebrity ambassador of the beauty brand Pat McGrath Labs – owned by longtime friend Pat McGrath.

The Supermodel Naomi Campbell and makeup artist Pat McGrath are longtime friends and collaborations for 25 years. Both “legends” have created looks for runways, magazine pages, fashion week shows, major campaign and on red carpet.

To celebrate the achievement Naomi starred in a short video clip “The Divine Rose Collection” directed by McGrath herself. In the clip, the icon looks flawless while modelling a gold halo crown with angelic wings. Naomi is seen surrounded by blooming rose flowers as she stares down the camera highlighting her ageless complexion.

In describing their relationship McGrath says “Naomi’s beauty is without compare, but what truly makes her special and the ultimate McGrath muse is her legendary loyalty, unparallel work ethic and sublime soul, it is an understatement to say that I consider myself blessed to call her a friend”

“To be part of her luminous legacy as a trailblazer in the worlds of beauty and fashion is truly an honor”

In a social media post, Naomi had a lot to say about the brand

“It’s an absolute honor to be the new and first official face of PAT MCGRATH LABS. Pat is my chosen family and an undeniable creative force in beauty business who has been in my life since the early stages of my career. Pat has created a line that brings fantasy and glamour back into our daily lives and makes us dream again! There is no one else I’d rather embark on this journey with other than the iconic @patmcgrathreal”

This comes after Campbell has been vocal about the discrimination, she’s faced in the fashion industry as a Black woman.

The pair met in 1994, on the set of an i-Dmagazine photoshoot according to VOGUE.

“I knew right away that I loved her personality” Campbell also described Pat as very maternal and comfortable to be around with.

“But I also felt safe – she’s very maternal and makes you comfortable right away and confident that she knew what she was doing. I was so happy to work with a makeup artist of color because there weren’t any at the time”
