It still has the same sparkle of a Krispy Kreme doughnut, except this time the foundation color is a delicious chocolate rather than a milky pink or nude.
The look was created by Hailey Bieber, a beauty icon who also gave us glazed donut skin in January and the original glazed donut nails last month – the hashtag #glazeddonutnails has received more than 79 million views on TikTok, and the video showcasing it racked up more than six million views in just two days.
As the colder months approach, many people would naturally go toward a fall red, but chocolate-glazed donut nails offers a more intriguing option because of its subdued tones and multilayered topcoat.
Celebrity nail artist Zola Ganzorigt used a light caramel brown and an opalescent topcoat to create Hailey’s look. This glaze finish gives the base color more depth and makes it appear nearly golden in certain lighting.
