Great news fellow beauty enthusiasts, there’s  new TikTok makeup trend called ombré concealer and with a staggering 6.8 million views and counting y’all know it’s worth the try. For newcomers, this trend is a popular way to brighten undereyes and enhance the appearance of your face with the use of a rainbow concealer lineup.

Klaudia Syd’s ombré under-eye tutorial is a popular example of the trend. She uses three shades of liquid concealer and two shades of liquid blush. She starts with a concealer two or three shades lighter than her foundation, then applies a dot of the other two concealers towards the middle of the under-eye. She then applies light pink and dark pink blush, ending at the outer corner. Blending is done using a makeup brush or sponge, starting from the inner corner and leaving the deepest blush shade for last. A light layer of translucent setting powder is then applied using a fluffy powder brush.

How to get the Ombré Concealer look

To achieve an Ombré Concealer look, choose a concealer two to three shades lighter than foundation, and avoid patchy finish with similar texture formulas.

Step 1: Prep and prime

Begin with a clean, moisturized face and apply primer for a smooth canvas for makeup adhesion, ensuring concealer stays in place throughout the day.

Step 2: Pick The Right Shade

Choose three concealer shades based on skin tone, applying the lightest near the under-eye corner, the middle, and the outermost corner, with varying degrees of lightness.

Step 3: Add a little blush

Add a light-pink blush to the inner corner of the eyes, optionally over concealer color. Apply a dark pink blush to the farthest corner, increasing the ombré effect and providing a subtle flush of color.

Step 4: Blend

Blend concealer and blush shades using a makeup brush or beauty blender, starting from the inner corner and working towards the outer corner. Create a smooth transition to avoid harsh lines.

Step 5: Set it

Apply translucent setting powder to concealer and blush, using a fluffy powder brush for a soft, diffused finish, preventing creasing and smudging.
