Sydney Sweeney just made the chop—and she’s never looked more radiant. The Euphoria star unveiled her fresh bob at the Los Angeles premiere of Christy during AFI Fest, marking her official entry into the season’s biggest hair trend.
Arriving arm-in-arm with boxing legend Christy Martin, the actress turned heads in a custom pink Miu Miu gown adorned with intricate floral appliqué. The look, styled by Molly Dickson, featured a plunging lace-trimmed neckline, a sculpted bodice, and a full sweeping skirt that caught the light with every step. A slim belt added a subtle edge to the romantic silhouette, while the halter neckline perfectly framed Sweeney’s new cropped cut.

Her hairstylist, Glen “Coco” Oropeza, revealed that the transformation was a week in the making. Using Kérastase products, he created a sleek, bouncy bob with a soft Old Hollywood wave—equal parts playful and polished. Makeup artist Melissa Hernandez matched the mood with glowing skin and rosy tones, sweeping blush across Sweeney’s cheeks and adding a pink sheen to her lips, lids, and lower lash line. Long, fluttering lashes sealed the effortlessly glamorous look.
Sweeney’s debut comes ahead of her role in Christy, the David Michôd–directed biopic chronicling the rise of boxing champion Christy Martin, set for release on November 7.
Between the sharp cut, vintage glamour, and cinematic energy, Sydney Sweeney just proved that a good bob—and a great dress—can do all the talking.
