Ayo Edebiri has officially entered her fashion goddess era. At the 69th BFI London Film Festival premiere of After the Hunt, the actress floated down the red carpet in a look that could have easily closed a couture show—or a wedding aisle.

Her gown, a fluid, ivory creation from Matthieu Blazy’s debut Chanel collection (fresh off the Spring/Summer 2026 runway in Paris), was the perfect marriage of minimalism and grace. Cut from lustrous silk, the dress featured a soft cowl neckline, an asymmetric tie at the shoulder, and a sculptural knot at the waist that draped effortlessly into a floor-sweeping hem. On Edebiri, the silhouette moved like liquid light—modern, unfussy, and quietly romantic.

Adding a dash of whimsy to the ethereal moment, Edebiri accessorized with diamond earrings from the same Chanel collection, featuring a yellow duck figurine perched mid-swing inside a ring of diamonds. The playful detail—blink and you’ll miss it—was a testament to her ability to balance sophistication with wit. Her hair, swept into an elegant updo with blunt bangs, framed the jewelry and gave the look a contemporary finish.
The actress attended the screening alongside costars Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield, who star with her in Luca Guadagnino’s After the Hunt. The film, which explores themes of power, truth, and redemption within academia, has already made waves since its Venice premiere. But on this night, all eyes were on Edebiri—radiant, refined, and rewriting what “red carpet bridal” can look like in 2025.
