Ariana Grande didn’t wear Glinda pink last night, but she still brought the magic in black-and-white retro glamour. The singer stunned at the 2024 Annual Academy Museum Gala in a custom Balmain ivory polka-dotted ballgown with a sweetheart neckline and full, frothy skirt.
The actress wore a vintage polka-dotted gown with a bow beneath the neckline, a thick black ribbon cinching her waist, and a gray fabric bordering the bottom hem. She paired it with a diamond tennis necklace and drop earrings. The Wicked character appeared in her glam, with a glossy pink lip and fluttering false eyelashes. Grande’s blonde hair was split into a dramatic side part and swept up in a romantic updo with delicately curled tendrils.
This comes after she hosted Saturday Night Live in a fuchsia gown from Thierry Mugler’s fall 1982 collection.
