The actress walked the red carpet at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in a golden naked dress, paying homage to Cher, who was inducted into the hall of fame. The gown was a vintage Bob Mackie design from 2001, resembling a golden gown Cher wore in 1972. Mackie is responsible for Cher’s iconic style moments, including her feather headpiece, zig-zagging two-piece, and feather- and sequin-festooned naked dress, which she wore to the 1986 Oscars.

Styled by Law Roach, Zendaya wore a stunning dress with a twisted halterneck, open bodice, and golden straps. The dress was sheer beige covered in Art Deco-esque golden lines, adorned with small glittering beads, jewels, and crystals. Adding a white silk satin trench coat which is embroidered with the same embellishments as her dress.

Zendaya paired the dress with pointy gold heels and blush makeup, and naturally, a tribute to Cher’s look must also have long, stick-straight hair. Zendaya added a stack of gold bangles to complete the ensemble.
