Ariana Grande, who will play Glinda in the Wicked film adaptation, recently took the stage for her monologue in an enchanting strapless gown in the pink palette of her Wicked character. Unlike the JW Anderson minidress she sported earlier in the week for SNL promotions, her magenta dress was a rare gem from exclusive archives.

A Thierry Mugler creation, the dress was plucked out from the brands 1982 collection. Sourced by LILY et Cie, the strapless dress had a corseted top and a sweetheart neckline, flaring out into a voluminous skirt tapering off at her calves, while keeping the rest of her styling minimal with fuchsia pumps. Grande styled her blonde hair in a sleek bun, paired it with black eyeliner, pink blush, and a glossy lip for a simple, elegant look.
Together with her stylist, Mimi Cuttrell, Grande has gone above and beyond for the Wicked press tour. They have meticulously curated a stunning wardrobe that perfectly captures Grande’s love for theater and fashion. One of the standout pieces is a JW Anderson minidress. Additionally, Grande has been turning heads in show-stopping pink ensembles from top designers such as Balenciaga, Oscar de la Renta, and Thom Browne.
