Sarah Jessica Parker never fails to impress with her bold and futuristic red-carpet ensembles. A quintessential New Yorker, just like her beloved character Carrie Bradshaw, Parker seizes every opportunity to showcase her impeccable style at glamorous Big Apple events. Recently, at the New York City Ballet’s fall fashion gala, all eyes were on her as she made a grand entrance in a stunning floral dress designed by the legendary Oscar de la Renta.
The off-the-shoulder Oscar De La Renta bouffant included layers upon layers of tulle and airbrushed with metallic blooms. The gossamer fabric featured the same flower pattern, but instead of silver leaf petals had metallic swirls.
SJP also opted for a metallic color scheme with her accessories, including a bedazzled clutch, sandal heels, pendant necklace, climber earrings, diamond bangles, and sparkly silver eyeshadow.
As a frequent attendee of the gala, her looks include an Oscar de la Renta midi-dress for the 2004 spring gala, the caped Valentino confection for the 2012 autumn gala, Giles Deacon couture and ruby-red slippers for 2018, and the flared Carolina Herrera gown for the last year’s event.
