As Princess Kate continues her courageous battle against cancer, she remains focused on her royal duties and future endeavors. Despite undergoing treatment, she is determined to make a difference in the world.
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Kate reached out to British TV host Dwayne Fields, congratulating him on being appointed as the new U.K. Chief Scout of the Scouts youth development organization. Kate herself has been a joint president of Scouts since 2020, breaking barriers as the first woman to hold this prestigious position in the nonprofit’s history. Alongside her fellow joint president, Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent, Kate is dedicated to empowering young people and making a positive impact on their lives.
“Delighted to welcome @DwayneFields as the new UK Chief Scout,” the royal wrote on X. “The Scouts is such an incredible organisation, teaching #SkillsForLife and making a huge difference to young people across the country. Looking forward to working with you!”
The Princess of Wales, has been largely out of the spotlight since her cancer diagnosis in March. Despite not working in an official capacity, she has made public appearances at Wimbledon and Trooping the Colour. She recently appeared in a video message with Prince William to congratulate Team Great Britain on their wins at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
