This year’s BET Awards, hosted by the iconic Taraji P. Henson, included live performances from Ice Spice, the rising star Tyla, Megan Thee Stallion, and even the legendary Lauryn Hill. Performances aside, we couldn’t get enough of Ice Spices’ archival look (remember her denim Baby Phat look at the 2024 Grammys?).
Ice Spice, like Tyla, revived the 2000s aesthetic, wearing a tangerine Versace gown from the spring/summer 2004 collection, featuring a low back and keyhole neckline. Matching strappy, open-toe heels complemented the ensemble.
Back in February, Ice wore a Dolce & Gabbana gown with a peachy-orange sheer neckline and floor-grazing skirt, revealing her leopard-print corset, matching tights, and open-toe heels. She paired it with a diamond tennis necklace, diamond stud earrings, and a leopard-print purse. Spice glammed up with champagne highlighter, black winged eyeliner, and glossy brown lips, and styled her iconic copper hair in her signature curly Afro.
