Marc Jacobs hosted his off-calendar fall 2024 show at the New York Public Library, featuring Cardi B, Grace Coddington, and Lourdes Leon. The VIP looks homaged Jacobs’s 40-plus-year career, with Cardi B’s floral silhouette stealing the show.
The rapper donned a billowy gown adorned with giant pansies in soft yellow, earthy ochre, and rich purple hues, embellished with ostrich feathers to imitate flower stamens, elevating its ethereal feel as she walked. Her floral ensemble was complemented by some signature Marc Jacobs touches. She paired canary-yellow tights with her dress and matched them with translucent yellow sunglasses. Of course, she finished off with a pair of white towering Kikis—a classic of the designer.
Beauty-wise, Cardi went for a bold face-framing bangs, rectangular sunglasses, pink lip contoured by brown liner, and a nude manicure. She even matched nails with Marc Jacobs, who had an extravagant, bedazzled manicure too.
