At Cannes, Romy Mars, Francis Ford Coppola’s granddaughter briefly stole the spotlight at the premiere of Megalopols. The teen posed alongside sister, Cosima Mars, their parents, Sofia Coppola and Thomas Mars, uncle Roman Coppola, and great-aunt Talia Shire, who also stars in the film.

It goes without saying that the screening held last night was not just any ordinary premiere, but rather a special family affair for the soon-to-be 18-year-old Mars. With her milestone birthday approaching in November, Mars graced the red carpet in a stunning black dress adorned with a delicate tulle overlay.

She wore all Chanel accessories, such as logo earrings, slingback pumps, and a quilted mini Chanel bag. Earlier at the Megalopolis photocall, she chose a tweed mini dress from Chanel. She was accompanied by her sister, Cosmia, and her great-aunt Talia Shire and uncle Roman Coppola.

Last year, Romy Mars Croquet, gained viral attention for attempting to charter a helicopter to visit a camp friend. She has not been active on TikTok since the video went viral. Sofia Coppola mentioned that social media was Romy’s way of expressing rebellion and praised her filmmaking and comedy skills. However, discussing her parenting publicly was not something Coppola had anticipated or desired.
