While walking the Met Gala red carpet in Kim Jones-designed Fendi couture dresses and standing on the designer’s arm, Kate and Lila Moss shared a heartfelt mother-daughter moment.
Karl Lagerfeld, who led Fendi’s design team from 1965 until 2019 (his time of death), was subtly honored by the dresses. The designs drew inspiration from Lagerfeld’s fondness of feminine accents and pastel colors. While Lila went with a pink faux fur dress with a sheer netted bustier panel in the middle, Kate picked a slippery slipdress with lace trim and sheer pink sleeves. Additionally, they coordinated with pairs of silver heels, Kate’s being Aquazzura.
Last year, the duo made an appearance with Lila opting for a nude dress with crystal embellishments, while Kate donned an off-the-shoulder suit dress in plush velvet for the 2022 Met Gala.
