Wearing a denim look from Y/Project’s fall/winter 2023 collection, Rihanna arrived at the CinemaCon where she announced that she will voice Smurfette in The Smurfs Movie. The head-turning look consisted of an oversized stonewash denim cape-dress, with a thigh-high leg cut that revealed a pair of thigh-high denim boots. Though as Rihanna knows great accessories will elevate any look – in this case, Riri chose sapphire and diamond necklace from Jacob & Co, chandelier drop earrings, and matching studs from Bayco. For glam, she went for a dramatic blue eyeshadow to finish off the look.
The Fenty Founder will provide original songs to the movie and is also a producer on it, according to Variety. “I tried to get the Papa Smurf role but it didn’t work out, Riri joked when asked why she chose Smurfette over Papa Smurf.
