Zendaya has been wearing vintage gowns from Yves Saint Laurent to Valentino, but her favourite is Versace. On Thursday night, she opted for a brown lace dress from Versace’s autumn/winter 2001 collection, featuring leather panelling. She won the Star of the Year award at CinemaCon’s Big Screen Achievement Awards.

Collaborating with style architect and friend Law Roach, Zendaya attended the event in Las Vegas wearing a stunning vintage Versace gown. The body-hugging dress featured a cowl neckline with a delicate, caramel-colored floral lace material. The dress also had identical leather halter straps, light brown leather panels at the torso and waist, and a thin belt that was fastened at the waist. She opted for triangle-shaped drop earrings, a stack of gold bracelets, and beige heels for the remainder of the outfit’s accessories.

“Thank you @donatella_versace for another special moment, been waiting to wear this one,” the Euphoria star posted on Instagram following the event.

Zendaya has worn vintage Versace on the red carpet before, including for the Green Carpet Fashion Awards in 2020 and the 2021 BET Awards in 2021. For her first red-carpet appearance of 2023, she wore a green and black Versace couture gown from spring/summer 2002 at the NAACP Image Awards.
