Stepping out with her son Maddox Jolie-Pitt, Angelina Jolie attended a state dinner on Wednesday at the White House hosted by President Joe Biden and the president of South Korea, Yoon Suk Yeoland and his wife Kim Keon Hee. Maddox, 21, studied biochemistry at Yonsei University in Seoul, giving the family a personal link to South Korea.
Jolie wore a flowing ivory gown with a V neckline and a flowy skirt for the state dinner. She layered it with a quilted vintage mini-jacket from Chanel in matching hue. She completed the bridal dress with golden shoes, a golden clutch purse, a gold beaded necklace and pearl drop earrings. For glam, jolie went for a soft smokey eye with her signaure red lip to balance off her simple wavy hair.
Maddox, who was standing next to Jolie, looked sharp in a black suit, black tie, pristine white dress shirt, black dress shoes, and black-rimmed spectacles.
For many years white evening gowns have somewhat become a staple for Anjelina Jolie off and on the red-carpet. Given the Marc Bower gown she wore to the 2004 Oscars and the ivory slipdress she wore to the New York City’s Lincoln Center earlier this year – one can can say that Joilie’s choices have a timeless, sophisticated feel to it.
