A basketball court is hardly the perfect venue for a date night — but anything is possible with the right partner. That was the case for Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry who enjoyed the good ol’ American date night at the Lakers basketball game with the Memphis Grizzlies.
For their rare public outing, Markle wore a pink linen shorts suit by the Los Angeles-based fashion label Staud, which had an oversized blazer and high-waisted shorts that matched. She accessorized with a plain white T-shirt and gold jewelry. Meghan, whos royal wardrobe has always included nude pumps as a footwear choice, such as LK Bennett Sledge heels, Gianvito Rossi court shoes, and heeled stiletto pumps — so it was no surprise the royal finished off the look with nude pumps.
Harry, meanwhile, looked sharp in his dark gray slacks, white T-shirt, and navy blue blazer jacket. Things got interesting when Harry and Meghan were filmed on the overhead jumbotron in a clip shared by by Washington Post reporter Ben Golliver — with Harry leaning in to initiate a kiss cam moment, prompting Meghan to laugh and hit him on the shoulder.
