Blackpink’s Rosanne Park Chae Young, better known as Rosé, has long served as an ambassador for Saint Laurent and a devotee of the French luxury brand, favoring monochrome designs in monochromatic hues. This week though, the pop star switch her Parisian aesthetic for a bridal look to attend the Korean skincare brand Sulwhasoo and Metropolitan Museum of Art’s partnership celebration.
Choijaehoon, a Soeul-based bridal designer known for meticulously made custom pieces, dressed the K-pop sensation in a black satin A-line floor-length gown that featured spaghetti straps, a fitted bodice with X-cross detailing on the back. Rosé finished her look with a Tiffany & Co. diamond bracelet and necklace as accessories.
BLACKPINK’s Rosé, who was appointed a Sulwhasoo global ambassador last October, co-hosted the event, which is one of the k-pop star’s few public appearances in New York in recent years. Jia Song, a Chinese actress, and Oscar winner Yuh-Jung Youn were among the ambassador co-hosts. Other guests in attendance included Charli XCX, Paloma Elsesser, Precious Lee and Ashley Park.
