A lot of celebrities have unveiled vintage pieces on the red carpet due to designer vintage having a significant red carpet moment. Most recently, Zendaya wowed on the NAACP Image Awards red carpet over the weekend in a set that was recreated based on a look from Prada’s Spring/Summer 1993 show. Olivia Rodrigo, a persistent fan of dressing vintage for appearances and performances, joined her colleagues on Wednesday night by attending the Billboard Women in Music Awards in a vintage brown leather tube top and cream slacks with horse detailing down the right leg.
Her stylist, Danielle Goldberg, verified the outfit as coming from the Chloé Spring/Summer 2001 collection who posted snaps of the star on Instagram.
Rodrigo opted for a cool-girl appearance by wearing few accessories, including no necklaces, bracelets, or bags. She also chose pink lipgloss and a straightforward cat-eye for her makeup. The singer’s hair was blow dried by her hairdresser Clayton Hawkins, who then “created some loose bends” with a 1.5-inch curling iron.
Rodrigo has a persistent passion for vintage clothing. The celebrity has frequently worn renowned vintage pieces from a number of upscale brands and designers, including vintage Vivienne Westwood and Jean Paul Gaultier.
