At this year’s Roc Nation Brunch, Beyoncé made a stunning entrance.
The star wore a futuristic couture minidress by Gareth Pugh as she and her husband Jay-Z attended the traditional pre-Grammy ceremony last night. The contemporary take on an elevated spacesuit included a short bodycon skirt, a skintight bodice with silver panels down the torso and back, and a structured white collar rising above the star’s shoulders. The outfit was finished off with white fingerless opera gloves with folded cuffs over the elbows.
The “Alien Superstar” singer styled her hair in a curly wet look and wore her hair down. She matched the eye-catching garment with silver platform shoes by Amina Muaddi. Her jewelry includes a pair of mismatched silver Messika hoops, one with a starburst pattern and the other with a diamond pendant hanging in the middle, as well as rectangular, white-rimmed sunglasses.
The pop star only shared one photo of the ensemble, which features her posing with one hand on a white stepladder, but stylist KJ Moody provided photos from a second set-up.
In another look from yesterday’s pre-Grammy events, the Renaissance singer descended to Earth in a long-sleeved mock-neck minidress by Caléchie Custom. With its skillfully wrinkled fabric and decorative curtain sash, which hung past the length of the bodycon bodice, the item recalled molten silver.
With thick black tights, open-toe silver platforms, and delicate silver hoops by Messika by Kate Moss, Bey completed the outfit. She also lugged the bag from Published By’s Ruby’s Lost Stone.
At this year’s ceremony, where she is nominated for nine categories, including Album of the Year for Renaissance, Record of the Year for “Break My Soul,” and Song of the Year for “Break My Soul,” the record-breaking Grammy nominee is poised to take home the major prize. Additionally, the sale of tickets for her eagerly anticipated Renaissance World Tour starts the next week.
