The spring/summer 2023 runways at Prada, Chopova Lowena, Dries Van Noten, and Bottega Veneta saw an unexpected return of corsages.
As Sophie Turner, who wore a red cropped jacket by Magda Butrym decorated with ruffled roses for the unveiling of her husband Joe Jonas’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, proved, new season corsages have cool-girl appeal. Turner is not the first to like florals in advent of spring. As is Kylie Jenner, who grabbed the trend in a Tippex-white latex Coperni dress studded with 3D blooms, Bella Hadid is also supporting corsages. Bella sported a denim corset embroidered with a gothic rose last year. Earlier this month, Kendall Jenner wore a translucent dress with a tiny anthurium at the neckline that was fresh off the spring/summer 2023 runway for Ludovic de Saint Sernin.
