Following his breakup with Lori Harvey, Michael B. Jordan, who was awarded People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2020, discussed his dating situation during this past weekend’s Saturday Night Live opening monologue.
Jordan began his monologue by drawing a comparison between his first acting role on the soap opera All My Children and his first time directing a film, Creed III, as he considered the “full-circle” trajectory of his career.
Now, 20 years later, I just directed my very first movie, Creed III,” he said. “But right after that, I went through my very first public breakup. Most people after a breakup are like, ‘I’m going to get in better shape.’ But I was already in Creed shape.”
The actor described how he coped with the breakup in lieu of exercising. “So I had to be like, ‘All right, I guess I’ll learn a new language.’ Anyway, estoy en Raya.“
He continued, “After the breakup, everyone thought I was so heartbroken, because when the news came out, I was at a basketball game and they caught me looking like this.”
The screen then flashes to a photo of Jordan looking disgruntled while sitting courtside. “Look, I was just chilling,” Jordan said. “But the Internet decided that was me being sad. Luckily for me, if you Google ‘sad Michael Jordan,’ the first 8,000 results are this.”
He then pointed to a picture of basketball legend Michael Jordan crying.
