Margot Trades In Her Chanel Couture Again For Boudoir Fashion

Margot Robbie, a Chanel ambassador, frequently wears Chanel for her red carpet attire, although she occasionally loves to mix things up. She wore a cape from Valentino, a suit from Bottega Veneta, and an ab-baring Alaa dress for the press tour for her new movie Babylon, in which she plays a roaring ’20s actress. She gave another homage to her gorgeous on-screen persona at the Sydney premiere of the movie.

In a silk Versace slip that nodded to the boudoir trend, Robbie made her stylish mark at home. The actor walked beside her co-star Diego Calva in an ice-blue gown with the label’s recognizable corseted bodice and straps imprinted with the Medusa design.

The thigh-high slit, structured bodice, scalloped neckline, and red lace trim on the hem were all features of the silky baby blue dress. While Robbie’s version maintained a similar gathering of cloth at the hip, she chose for contrasting red lace. The actress’s outfit was inspired by a catwalk design worn by Carla Bruni at the Versace couture show in 1995. Under the split, a matching pair of baby blue strappy shoes could be seen.

Robbie ended the look with a nude lip and minimal, clean makeup to allow the dress speak for itself, which was not surprising. Without any obvious jewelry, she accessorized the ensemble with delicate, gentle waves.
