Several recordings of the event have circulated on Twitter, in which Adele turns to the crowd and says, “It’s my boyfriend’s birthday today, and I love him more than life itself. Can we wish him happy birthday?”She then calls out his name, Rich, before screaming out the tune and closing with her trademark chuckle.
Paul, a sports agent, celebrated his 41st birthday on the day of the event by attending Adele’s Weekends with Adele residency, which is now taking place at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
When the two sat courtside at an NBA game in July of that year, they made their relationship public for the first time. The two have been dating since 2021. Adele acknowledged to ELLE that she fell madly in love with Paul during an interview for her September cover. “Beyond,” she said. “I’ve never been in love like this. I’m obsessed with him.”
