Guillermo del Toro, an Academy Award-winning director, was recognized at the Museum of Modern Art’s 2022 Film Benefit, presented by Chanel.
53-year-old Helen Christensen was among the stars who made their way to the 15th annual event in New York City.
Fashion enthusiasts are now more likely to see Helena Christensen’s model son Mingus on the catwalk than the super herself, but she is still very much in evidence on the red carpet.
The Danish beauty looked stunning in a gently ruffled white strapless gown with pale pink ribbon embellishment as she attended a Chanel benefit at the Museum of Modern Art. Helena completed her look with a pale pink Mary-Jane shoe, a seashell clutch purse, and a cropped jacket slung over her shoulders.
Since she began storming international runways with Naomi, Cindy, Kate, and the rest, Helena has been known for her incredible shine. The supermodel’s candy-pink lip and rose-colored blush were done by Manhattan-based makeup artist Soo Park while she listened to Christmas music in her room as per Helena’s Instagram Stories. Prior to the occasion, she had also seen aesthetician Angela Caglia for a facial.
The night celebrated the two-time Oscar nominee and even provided an advance look at Guillermo del Toro’s debut MoMA exhibition, Guillermo del Toro: Crafting Pinocchio, according to the event’s official description.
The MoMA Film Benefit, now in its 15th year, raises money for the purchase and preservation of important film works as well as sponsoring the Museum’s ground-breaking film exhibitions, according to the description. “In celebration of this cause, the evening honors an individual for their significant impact on the film industry.”
