For their first trip to the United States in eight years, Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, arrived this week in Boston. Furthermore, Middleton has already produced two eye-catching outfits despite the fact that they have only been in the US for a day.
The first was the sharp suit she wore to disembark, matching her husband’s equally immaculate clothing. The second outfit, for a visit with Boston’s mayor Michelle Wu and a speech to the city, consists of a green Burberry tartan dress, an Alexander McQueen coat, a Mulberry handbag, and Shyla London earrings.
Not only is the outfit perfect for the holiday season, but it also pays homage to Scotland’s patron saint on St. Andrew’s Day. After the mayor lit up the city’s landmarks green to conclude the couple’s first ceremonial celebration in Boston, the color felt very appropriate. The pair is in the United States to attend the second annual Earthshot Prize Awards event on Friday, which will honor five environmentalists chosen by a committee that includes Prince William and Sir David Attenborough.
