For her 42nd birthday this past weekend, Kim picked two outfits from her vintage Dolce & Gabbana collection (Kim Kardashian revealed to her friend Tracy Romulus that she had amassed a sizable wardrobe over the years, with an estimated 30,000 items.) She hosted a party in her hometown of Calabasas on Friday and chose a white lace nude dress from D&G’s spring/summer 1999 display to commemorate her special day, which was covered in black underpants.
She had originally planned to travel to Las Vegas the next day to see Usher with her family and friends, but poor weather derailed her plans. Instead, the Kardashians wound up dining at an In-N-Out while looking absolutely stunning. Kim wore glittery clothes from her spring/summer 2023 collaboration with the company and accessorized with a feather boa while ordering hamburgers.
Since the collaboration had its runway premiere in Milan last month, Kim has undoubtedly been sporting outfits from it. Kim said that Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were made aware of her sizable D&G collection at Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s Dolce-fied wedding earlier this year during a press conference held prior to the exhibition. Some of the items in her own D&G collection are “pieces that even [the designers] didn’t have in their own archives,” which were later updated and reissued for spring/summer 2023.
