Taylor Swift surprised everyone today when she showed up at the 2022 MTV VMAs.
The”Blank Space” singer, who is up for five awards tonight, looked stunning in a silver minidress with matching stiletto shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. The beautiful, flapper-inspired Oscar de la Renta outfit appeared to be constructed of numerous layers of glistening silver chains that were covered with pearls and brilliant gemstones. Swift’s bare chest was visible in the centre of the dress, which was covered by layers of chains over a nude cloth in the breast and skirt areas.
The dress had no back, a halter neckline, and no sleeves. As the multi-hyphenate walked the red carpet at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, long chains of jewels cascaded down her bare back. For accessories Taylor wore spiky, pear-shaped earrings that were the ideal finishing touch to her glamorous, classic beauty appearance. Swift had her bangs parted in the middle and her hair nearly up in a bun. She had a lovely silver cat eye and a red lip on.
Joe Alwyn, her lifelong partner, did not accompany her to the red carpet.
Swift’s “All Too Well” short film received nominations for Best Video, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Direction, and Best Long Form Video.
