Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s creative director, was inspired by the concept of ephemerality in Tyla’s dress. He tells Vogue, he aimed to redefine boundaries and transform a transient material into an everlasting masterpiece. Rousteing was thrilled with the end result, as he was inspired by the idea of sculpting a garment from sand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The strapless dress in sand colors with micro crystal studs had an organza mermaid train that flared out, enhancing herlook. She paired with a silver diamond choker and hourglass-shaped clutch.
