It’s no news that Beverly Naya loves to show off her natural hair. Be it magazine covers, big-screen roles, or red carpet appearances, Naya almost always chooses to maintain her natural or protective hairstyling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surprisingly, in a country that’s predominantly black, women have yet to be able to appreciate their coily hair, and those that do face difficulties in styling and maintaining it. For a long time, the British-Nigerian actress has been a strong advocate for natural hair representation, even taking a step further in her SKIN documentary, where she tackles colorism from the Nigerian perspective.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
