Casablanca debuted their Spring\/Summer 2024 collection during Paris Fashion Week, which was held beneath the Tuileries Garden. Titled ‘Day of Victory’ (which makes sense since it was Nigeria’s 63rd celebration), Tajer’s collection depicts Nigeria’s modern youth, with sports-inspired uniforms and vividly coloured clothes. Netted shirting, gradient denim, athletic bodysuits, cropped racing coats, musical instruments, and dancing masses were all part of the collection. The outfits were embellished with tennis game drawings and beaded tops, reflecting Nigerian beading tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a more Nigerian touch, Fela Anikulapo Kuti (son of Fela Kuti) walked the runway for French brand. The model wore a white jumpsuit with green and purple stripes, while Rema’s song ‘Addicted’ played in the background. The brand also shared a video snippet of Kuti’s life and time before the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
