With the influx of influencers in the ever-booming world of social media marketing, it’s only proper that influencers that rise above others be ideally recognized. And just as the U.S. has the American Influencer Awards, in Nigeria, the Trendupp Awards (Nigeria’s first ever Influencers and Content Creators Awards) celebrate the contributions of creatives, content creators, influencers, brands, and organizations to the social media space in Nigeria.
From the force of influence to the emerging forces, the awards had a tight race of nominees. But besides the anxiousness over who would win what, it was the red-carpet looks that got our attention. With Phyna channeling the mask in boxy-esque suit tailoring, Allyson going for an ultra-feminine silhouette, and yes, Doyin evoking the feel of a 1920s flapper dress, undoubtedly the red carpet was a hit.
