Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited Nigeria to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games, a global sporting event for wounded service members and women.
They started their day in Abuja, the capital, with a visit to a school that has launched a mental health program led by the GEANCO Foundation. The couple was greeted by cheers and a dance by the students, and after some touching speeches, they joined the dancing. Later, they met with injured service members at a military hospital. On Saturday, they attended a training session for charity organization Nigeria: Unconquered and a reception hosted by the country’s Chief of Defence Staff. Later, Meghan cohosted an event for Women in Leadership with Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, director-general of the World Trade Organization. On Sunday, they attended a basketball clinic with Giants of Africa, a cultural reception, and a polo fundraiser for Nigeria: Unconquered. Meghan expressed her belief in the futures of the country’s youth and the ability to continue telling their stories and be honest with each other.

May 10
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived at Lightway Academy in Abuja, Nigeria, wearing a sleeveless silk “Windsor” maxidress designed by Heidi Merrick. Markle paired it with gold jewelry, including a Cartier tank watch and vintage Lanvin earrings.
Markle later wore an all-white outfit by Altuzarra, featuring a plunging blazer and flared trousers. She paired it with suede Manolo Blahnik pumps, Ariel Gordon earrings, and an Aurate necklace.
May 11
At an exhibition sitting volleyball match at Nigeria Unconquered in Abuja, Nigeria, Meghan attended wearing a leaf print Johanna Ortiz dress, Heidi Merrick sunglasses, Jennifer Meyer earrings, and Emme Parsons sandals.
Next, the Duchess donned a St. Agni strapless white maxidress, vintage Dior earrings, nude Aquazzura heels, and a cross pendant previously belonging to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
She later attended the Women in Leadership event in Abuja, Nigeria, wearing a red Orire dress, Aquazzura pumps, and diamond-encrusted gold jewelry by Kimai, Ariel Gordon, and Logan Hollowell.
May 12
On their final day in Nigeria, the Sussexes arrive in Lagos. Markle wore a blue striped Aso-Oke wrap skirt, a hand-woven Nigerian cloth, to Lagos, paired with a white Carolina Herrera button-up and Burberry Prorsum metallic snakeskin heels.
They then left the airport to the school’s basketball court, which they visited in support of nonprofit Giants of Africa.
When they arrived at the Lagos State Governor House, Meghan wore a silk Carolina Herrera column gown, Aurate gold collar necklace, and Jennifer Meyer earrings.
For the final leg of the tour, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, attended a charity polo game in Lagos on May 12. Markle opted for a beige printed halter dress by Johanna Ortiz, paired with metallic Burberry Prorsum heels and Heidi Merrick sunglasses.
