Lagos Fashion Week knows how to host a party. Founded by Omoyemi Akerele in 2011, it attracts over 40.000 retailers, media, and consumers worldwide. The event has helped African designers and brands like Orange Culture, Lisa Folawiyo, and Christie Brown gain international recognition.

For her 2023 season, the fashion platform held a Press Cocktail event at The Art Hotel Lagos. Of course there was a cascading entourage of fashion enthusiast which can be seen below:
