An androgynous suit is hardly the first choice a typical Nigerian woman would reach out to for any soiree, but then again, there’s hardly any rule of thumb that decides. For ex-BBNaija housemate Daniella Peters, the poet dispensed with the idea of wearing an over-the-top dress to the 2023 reunion, opting instead for crisp androgynous tailoring.

Daniella wore a three-piece suit consisting of a boxy pant, a white collared shirt, a waistcoat, and a matching tie. Foregoing a tailored jacket, Peters kept things simple, coordinating the androgynous silhouette in a gray hue. She, however, went a little Gen-Z with her accessories, including a statement earring and chunky white sneakers.
She raised the bar even higher by adding a silver waist chain belt and many rings of jewellery to the ensemble, making it an iconic fashion statement. And while this is a far cry from the off-shoulder, bassy dress she wore earlier for the show, it’s best to remember what they say about a woman who can dress like a man and also slay in a dress.
