From K-pop hits to Korean movies, Korean culture has gained a lot of traction in recent years, and Nigeria is not left out. In fact, one of the many ways to people think to appreciate the culture is leaning towards the traditional attire (though some may accuse of cultural appropriation.) Known as a Hanbok, this traditional Korean clothing style, is artisan-made and offers an elegant, comfortable, and unrestrictive outfit for men, women, and children.

The garment, worn for special occasions, features a chima skirt and jeogori jacket with a specific Otkorum half-bow, showcasing signature detailing. Meanwhile, men wear paji, a baggy trouser, on the bottom of a Hanbok.

For Nigerian actress Jemima Osunde, the star opted for a design in navy and turquoise hue. Custom made by Flat17 Studio, her choice embodied her dedication to showcasing Korean heritage.
