Not too long ago, Ayra Starr met Rihanna at the Fenty Puma event (even celebrities get star struck), and now the acquaintances turned BFFs are having the time of their lives at the Crop Over carnival set in Riri’s hometown, Barbados (see here).
Photographed at the Grand Kadooment parade in St. Michael, Ayra was spotted wearing a colorful carnival outfit made of multicolored jewels and crystal bases (which draped over her shoulders and wrapped around her body and legs) with a tall crown to match. For footwear, she added a pair of comfy trainers (who can blame her—it’s her first rodeo!).
Naturally, without wings, no Carnival ensemble would be complete. Ayra chose an amazing pair that included feathers in shades of purple, blue, green, lime, and black.
For Rihanna who exuded royalty this year has been absent from the famous carnival for several years, last attending in 2019. Her absence is not surprising, as she recently welcomed sons RZA and Riot with partner A$AP Rocky.
