With the increase in demand of luxurious beauty products in Nigeria, brands like MAC, Lancôme, and L’Oréal Luxe, Paco Rabone and Yves Saint Laurent were among the first establishing themselves in African megacities ranging from Lagos to Abidjan.
Back in 2019, YSL and Jordyn Woods hosted a casual girl chat session with some of the biggest beauty influencers in Lagos, in partnership with Grey Goose and YSL Beauty Nigeria. The brand took a step further in 2020 with their Libre fragance launch with Aduke Bey & Onyiibekeh at the front run – but this time, the brand hosted its first-ever exclusive experience event in Lagos, Nigeria. With music guest appearances from Faves and Fireboy, invitees were treated to scents and of course, good music.
