Entering fashion house Imad Eduso’s Lagos Fashion Week dinner at the celebrity hotspot NOK by Alara, guests were greeted with glasses of champagne, which after the runway was well deserved.
The dress code? Guests were decked out in varying pieces from the Postcards From Lagos collection, from the Gaia-laced bodysuit top to the Amina dress. Imad Eduso showcased their SS24 collection, “Postcards from Lagos,” featuring fashion influencers and fashion-it girls sans actual runway models. The collection itself combined fashion and culture to create wearable art, paying homage to the city’s spirit and hidden gems.
The brand also revealed its first bag model. According to Dami Olukoya the collection celebrates of culture, community, roots, and shared creativity, reimagining fashion to showcase diversity’s beauty.
