Kim Kardashian is a true trendsetter who never fails to amaze with her choice of clothing, and it was the same when she channeled Madonna in an imitation of the pop singer’s famous breast-baring gown from the 1992 catwalk.
The 41-year-old businessman wore a piece from the collection that alludes to a great event in popular culture history during Olivier Rousteing’s Jean Paul Gaultier haute couture presentation in Paris. Madonna’s infamous outfit from the 1992 amfAR Gala was reimagined in Kim’s black, figure-hugging pinstripe maxi dress with exposed breast cups in nude. The reimagined dress was a covert imitation of Madonna’s contentious Jean Paul Gaultier outfit from the amfAR Gala.
By accessorizing with black microshades, black pointed leather boots, and a chunky silver choker with a nose ring chain connected (another classic JPG reference from the spring/summer 1994 “Les Tatouages” collection), Kim completely transformed the look into her own.
