Not everyone is a fan of French girl chic. Gigi Hadid, the ideal California girl, adds a little of that carefree, playful spirit to every catwalk she walks down, and she’s kept her outfit vibrant this season as she’s traveled around Europe for the shows. Hadid has embraced vibrant hues, floral designs, and comforting textures instead of sticking to the model-off-duty staples of expensive jeans and leather jackets.
Hadid flew to the City of Light for Paris Fashion Week, fresh off the runways of Milan Fashion Week (where she and sister Bella bleached their brows for the Versace show), and rocked a floral catsuit and matching coat from Bruno Sialelli’s spring/summer 2022 Lanvin collection. Lanvin’s design was vibrant, with pop-art flower designs in pastel yellow and pink tones. That mood was reflected by the superstar’s strong beauty statement. Hadid, who was decked up in similar eyeshadow by make-up artist Patrick Ta, was a bright spot in PFW’s evening.
Her daring attire was complemented with black point-toe shoes, sparkly chains from French designer Messika, and a dazzling pair of hoops while dining at l’Avenue restaurant on March 3.
